What if Rufa Mae Quinto becomes a senator?
RUFA MAE QUINTO – The comedienne bared her plans if she becomes a senator.
Quinto started her showbiz career after landing a spot in That’s Entertainment.
Her first major film role was in Gloria, Gloria Labandera.
She starred in top-grossing films such as Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat, Pasukob, Desperadas, Manay Po 2, Temptation Island and to name a few.
She’s also part of the sketch comedy gag show, Bubble Gang.
Rufa Mae Quinto is married to Trevor Magallanes. They first met in 2016 during the comedienne’s fifth visit to the United States.
She gave birth to their first daughter Athena in 2017.
The actress expressed her interest in politics after her stint in the recent election.
In the mediacon of her newest comedy show, “TOLS,” which will premiere on GTV, she confirmed that she has plans to enter politics.
She also said the same thing in the latest vlog of Toni Gonzaga when asked if she can see herself in politics when she retires from showbiz.
“Gusto ko na nga ring tumakbo ng senate, e. Ha-hahaha! Hindi, joke lang. Pero parang, alam mo ’yon, kung walang-wala nang maaasahan kasi parang paubos na…sino na nga lang talaga ang okey?” she said.
When asked what law she wanted to pass, she said: “Ang batas…pupunta ba sa Batasan (Pambansa)? Magkakaroon ako ng batas ng gatasan.”
“Lahat ng gatas ipamimigay ko kaya kailangang ma-preserve. Oo, free milk for everyone. And more, more buko juice and honey. Charot! Ha-hahaha!” she added.
According to Ruffa, she doesn’t hope of becoming number one in the senatorial race unlike Robin Padilla. “Kahit nasa top 3 lang. Ha-hahaha!” she quipped.
