Here’s the message of Kelley Day to the basher who called her “kabet”
KELLEY DAY – The actress/beauty queen slammed a basher who called her “kabet.”
Kelley is an actress known for Dahil sa pag-ibig (2019), Ipaglaban mo (2014) and The World Between Us (2021).
In 2020, she represented the Philippines in the Miss Eco International pageant held in Egypt and brought home the first runner-up award.
Last June 12, she went to social media wherein she opened up about her mental health issue.
Her post was flooded with comments.
One of the comments that caaught her attention is when a netizen called her kabet: “Mahirap talaga maging kabet. Kaya mo yaaan.”
Some netizens defended Kelley but the basher commented that the actress-beauty queen “deserve” what she’s going through.
Kelley reacted to the basher’s comment and on Tuesday, June 28, she went to her IG Story wherein she posted a screen capture of the basher’s comment including her post.
She slammed the basher and even chided “unreliable chismosa columnists.”

Although she did not drop any name to whom she’s referring, Kelley previously became the subject of criticism following the blind item of entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin.
Allegedly, she is the third party in the separation of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana.
Tom and Carla decided to breakup months after their wedding.
“The blind item of Cristy Fermin was directed at me,” she said in an interview last March 2022.
Tom and Kelley worked together in the GMA-7 series, The World Between Us.
