Juan Karlos and his girlfriend Maureen Wroblewitz confirmed their split
JUAN KARLOS and MAUREEN WROBLEWITZ – The two confirmed on social media that they have broken up.
Juan Karlos or JK Labajo rose to fame after finishing third place in the first season of The Voice Kids Philippines, following Darren Espanto in second place and Lyka Gairanod as the champion.
On the other hand, Maureen rose to stardom after she won the fifth season of Asia’s Next Top Model.
It was in 2019 when they confirmed that they are in a relationship.
Their romance started when Maureen starred in the music video of the hit song, Buwan and since then they have been rooted in a romantic relationship.
But earlier, rumor has it that it’s over between the two.
This, was after Juan Karlos went to social media wherein he posted a photo of him alongside Maureen.
His post was accompanied by a cryptic caption: “Magka-ibigan na ngayo’y matalik na magkaibigan. Lagi mong tandaan na kahit pagbaliktarin mo man ang mundo, kahit saang lupalop man ng kalawakan, ikaw parin ang nagiisa kong buwan. Maraming salamat, mahal kita, at hanggang sa muli.”
As expected, it generated mixed reactions and comments.
One of the netizens said: “it’s all mikey’s fault.”
However, the comment was not clear what is it all about.
Another netizen commented: “atleast they broke up in goodest terms. still saddening tho.”
JK Labajo replied: “most mature breakup i’ve had. I want nothing but the best for each-other.”
In the comment section, Maureen left three (3) white heart emojis.
It can be deduced that the two are no longer together.
In JK’s post, some netizens claimed that 2022 is probably the year for breaking up. The recent showbiz split is the controversial separation of Moira dela Torre and her estranged husband Jason Hernandez.
