Jodi Sta. Maria: “40. So far it’s been a great year for me.”
JODI STA. MARIA — The actress recently took to social media to share a message as she celebrated her 40th birthday.
Earlier this month, the actress and her only son Thirdy flew to Amsterdam to start off their European vacation as her top-rated series “The Broken Marriage Vow” nears its finale airing.
With their trip to Europe also coinciding with her birthday this year, the actress shared in her latest social media post that she was in Prague for her birthday.
Having visited places in and outside the Philippines, the actress considers her son as her favorite travel buddy.
On Instagram, the actress shared a photo of herself taken by her son in front of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. She also made a reflective birthday message on her social media post.
According to her, she had to learn and unlearn certain things, to love and let go of situations and people, to ignore noises, and to live a life that is empowering to her.

She added that she had to stay calm and realize that it’s okay not to have everything figured out, to consciously remind herself to be grateful in every situation, and to cast her cares on the Lord.
“40. So far it’s been a great year for me. And as I cross the mid-point of my life, it’s grounded me in new ways,” she wrote. “Thank You Lord for the gift of life.”
She went on to make sure to give thanks to her family, friends, and her supporters who remembered her on her special day.
Thirdy is Jodi’s son with former husband Pampi Lacson. The “The Broken Marriage Vow” star is currently in a relationship with actor Raymart Santiago which started in 2020.
