Honesty is the best policy. Whenever you found something whether it would be money, jewelry, or any precious item, the right thing to do is to return it to the owner.

This is what Jerry de Leon, an employee of a food truck, exhibited.

Jerry works at the Zippo Tai food truck, located at Aguinaldo Street in front of a call center company, near the office of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Bacolod City.

A food truck is a large motorized vehicle (such as a van) or trailer, equipped to cook, prepare, serve, and/or sell food.

Jerry was assigned as one of the servers of the said food truck.

In an interview, Jerry shared how he found the expensive phone. An iPhone 13 has a price ranging from 50,000 pesos to 100,000 pesos.

Watch the report below:

According to him, they were busy with their work when he found a phone on the table, actually an iPhone 13.

He said that five (5) people sat at the spot where he found the phone.

He tried to look for them but it seemed that they already left. Then, he gave the phone to his colleague since he was busy serving, and with hopes that the owner would return soon.

After an hour, the customer returned. They immediately gave back the iPhone 13 to the owner. The owner, on the other hand, thanked Jerry for his honesty.
