Here’s an update about Ana Jalandoni and Kit Thompson’s issue
ANA JALANDONI – The actress shared in an interview that she has already forgiven her ex-boyfriend Kit Thompson, three months after the mauling incident.
The former couple made a buzz last March after the actor beat up the actress.
The incident started when Ana and Kit checked in at a hotel in Tagaytay and had an altercation. It was then that Thompson allegedly beat up Jalandoni.
Ana was rescued by the authorities after pleading for help from her friends, sending them a photo of herself with injuries.
The police rush to the hotel and rescued Ana and brought Kit to the police station. He later underwent inquest proceedings at the Tagaytay City Prosecutors Office.
The Philippine National Police filed a case against Thompson for violation of Section 5 (a) of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act.
He also faced two charges from Ana’s camp; frustrated homicide and illegal detention. The charges could put him in jail for several years.
But Kit Thompson was released after posting bail.
Three months after the mauling incident, Ana Jalandoni said that she has already forgiven the actor.
“Napatawad ko na siya,” she said.
According to her, she’s still in the process of moving on and healing.
Apparently, it’s not clear whether her camp will withdraw or not the charges filed against her ex-boyfriend.
Kit Thompson has yet to issue any statement since the incident.
