Zeus Collins and Pauline Redondo are now engaged.
ZEUS COLLINS — The former “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB)” housemate recently shared why he decided to propose to his non-showbiz girlfriend, Pauline Redondo, in the middle of a basketball game.
It was during the middle of the 4th quarter of the main basketball event during the Star Magic 30th All Star Games that he decided to surprise his girlfriend with a proposal.
He revealed that he had asked for help from his fellow Hashtags members on how to execute the surprise by pretending that he had injured himself colliding on the court while playing.
Once Pauline had come closer to see his condition, the Hashtags member shared his proposal speech with the entire crowd at the Araneta Coliseum last Sunday, May 22.

Zeus revealed in an interview on PUSH that the idea to propose to Pauline didn’t take that long to plan.
“Mga dalawang araw, ganun. Kasi hindi ako makatulog. Tuwing matutulog ako siyempre lagi naman na mag-pe-pray ka bago matulog. Hanggang sa nagulat ako na parang may biglang kumalabit sa akin na siguro tinanong ko na din si Lord tapos hindi ako nakatulog,” he said.
“Biglang pumasok sa isip ko na ayun nga, mag-propose. Hanggang isip ako ng isip. Pinag-pray ko ng pinag-pray. Hanggang sabi ko ito na talaga yung sign na gagawin ko na ‘to.”
Now dating for almost 3 years, the Hashtags member admitted that meeting his girlfriend was just a chance encounter that both of them never expected to happen.
After the proposal during the Star Magic Games, he shared what qualities Pauline had that made her the ideal wife for him — “sobrang simple lang. Sobrang bait, sobrang mahinahon lang. Tapos higit sa lahat, maka-Diyos siya.”
