Yeng whose real name is Josephine Eusebio Constantino-Asuncion is a pop-rock singer-songwriter, occasional actress, and host.

Constantino is the youngest of five siblings. She is a second cousin of television host Robi Domingo.

She is referred to as the Philippines Pop Rock Royalty and is regarded as one of the biggest hitmakers in the Philippine music industry.

Yeng rose to fame when she emerged as the winner of the now-defunct singing competition, Pinoy Dream Academy.

She is one of the members of the Filipino girl group DIVAS along with KZ Tandingan, Kyla, and Angeline Quinto.

She is behind the all-time favorites such as Ikaw, Cool off, Hawak Kamay, Chinito, Paasa, Jeepney Love Story, Lapit, Pag-ibig and to name a few.

She is married to Victor “Yan” Asuncion.

In the latest vlog of the singer, she introduced her other sibling named Kukie, who’s a transgender woman.

A trans woman was born male but identified themselves as a woman. They were discriminated against because of their orientation.

According to the singer, although she doesn’t understand the world of LGBTQ+, she has accepted her sibling.

“So, orientation niya. Eto yung identity niya, and it’s something I will never be able to fully, fully understand,” she said.

“But I am for you. I want you to be happy. I want you to be healthy. I want you to live a full life,” she added.
