Sandro Marcos Leads Election for Congressman for Ilocos Norte
SANDRO MARCOS – The son of former Senator Bongbong Marcos went emotional over the results of the local election in Ilocos Norte.
Several Marcoses ran for a position in the government in May 2022 Elections. The son of presidential candidate and former Senator Bongbong Marcos Jr., Ferdinand Alexander Marcos, ran for the congressional seat in the first district of Ilocos Norte.
More commonly called by the public Sandro, it is the first time of the son of the former Senator to run for congress. He’s vocal about the pressure he’s feeling because of the congressional race.
The voting for the local and national Elections 2022 is over. A few minutes after most of the voting precincts closed yesterday, partial and unofficial results were posted.
Sandro Marcos leads the congressional race for the 1st District of Ilocos Norte. This made the son of the former Senator emotional.
Based on a video posted on the Facebook page Balitang Ilocos Online courtesy of Vicky Adena, Sandro Marcos cried saying he did not expect to win the election for the congressman of the 1st district of Ilocos Norte.
The younger Marcos expressed his thanks to his team for their support and help to his campaign and told them he will be needing their help for the next three years, six years, and nine years. Here’s the video posted on Facebook:
In the presidential race, former Sen. Bongbong Marcos also leads the race as per the partial and unofficial results. Despite the huge gap that his numbers have set from the second placer in the results, he maintained his stand that the counting is not yet over and stressed that the people must remain vigilant.
