Robinhood Ferdinand Cariño Padilla is an actor, politician, screenwriter, producer and director.

He is known as the “Bad Boy” of Philippine cinema for portraying anti-hero protagonist gangster roles in films such as Anak ni Baby Ama, Grease Gun Gang, Bad Boy, and Bad Boy 2.

He has also been dubbed the “Prince of Action” of Philippine cinema.

Padilla is also active in television programs, having played lead roles in Basta’t Kasama Kita, Asian Treasures, Joaquin Bordado, Totoy Bato, Guns and Roses, and Toda Max.

Presently, Robin Padilla is leading the senatorial race with more than 26 million votes.

Amid his lead in the said position, some netizens compared him to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy who also started off in showbiz before venturing into politics.

Before becoming the president of Ukraine which was invaded by Russia, Zelenskyy was once a comedian.

Aside from that, he’s also a lawyer but never worked in the legal field.

Some netizens say that the two have similarities when it comes to their political beginnings.

Meanwhile, Padilla, an actor and producer, is currently leading the senatorial race with 26,227,674 votes.

Following Padilla is Loren Legarda with 23,818,331 votes, Raffy Tulfo with 23,018,309 votes, Win Gatchalian with 20,243,412 votes, and Chiz Escudero with 19,918,161 votes.

On the other hand, landing the sixth spot is Mark Villar with 19,063,474 votes, Alan Peter Cayetano with 18,956,076 votes, Migz Zubiri with 18,447,645 votes, Joel Villanueva with 18,191,889 votes, JV Ejercito with 15,585,489 votes, Risa Hontiveros with 15,180,373 votes and Jinggoy Estrada with 14,865,769 votes.
