Ogie Diaz talked about his former “alaga” Liza Soberano
Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz reacted to people’s comments questioning the capacity of James Reid to manage the career of Liza Soberano.
Through Ogie’s Showbiz Updates vlog, he revealed that he is no longer the manager of Liza. He clarified that they ended their manager-talent relationship in a good way. Then, Ogie mentioned that Liza is now being managed by James and his team as the actress wants to pursue a career in Hollywood.
The comedian-talent manager also said that he is thankful for the opportunities that he had for managing Liza for 11 years. In a recent vlog of Ogie Diaz, he answered the negative reaction of people to this decision of Liza Soberano.
Ogie’s co-host Mama Loi said that there were those who are questioning the capacity of James Reid to be a talent manager. “Sa totoo lang, hindi natin dapat kinu-question si James Reid kung gaano siya kahusay mag-manage. Unang-una, grupo silang magma-manage kay Liza,” Ogie said.
The comedian-talent manager also said that James is just a signatory in the contracts that will Liza sign in the future. Ogie also stressed that Liza has been friends with James and his former girlfriend, Nadine Lustre, for many years now. He also mentioned that James’s team is Liza’s business partner.
Ogie also said that they are just starting and so it will take time before projects will start coming in. “Kakapunta pa lang sa kanila ni Liza. Bakit ka maiinip kung wala pang nangyayari, di ba? Nag-uumpisa pa lang, so wait, wait lang,” the comedian-talent manager said.
As a former manager of Liza Soberano, Ogie Diaz said that he hopes the career of the actress will continue and even soar higher in the future.
