Vice Pres. Leni Robredo & Daughters Fly to New York
LENI ROBREDO – The Vice President and her daughters flew to New York to attend the graduation of her youngest daughter, Jillian Robredo.
The campaign period and as well as the voting period in the Elections 2022 are over. Currently, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) is in the process of canvassing the votes.
Vice President Leni Robredo who is one of the candidates for the presidency has previously expressed an encouragement to her supporters to accept the results of the election. She assured that all questions will be given attention. Amid the grief of her supporters over the partial and unofficial election results, the Vice President sparked a new hope as she announced the target launching of Angat Buhay as a non-government organization.
According to Vice Pres. Robredo, Angat Buhay will be launched in July. She will be finishing her term as the country’s vice president on June 30.
Currently, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo is in New York together with her daughters, Aika, Doc Tricia, and Jillian, to attend the graduation of her youngest daughter. Jillian is a scholar in New York.
All three (3) daughters of the Vice President have actively helped in her campaign. They were all very busy since she announced her bid for the presidency last October 2021.
Recently, in a post on Facebook, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo shared that she and her daughters will be gone in a few days and she apologized if she can’t accept the numerous requests for meet-ups. Meanwhile, she assured that meet-ups can surely happen at some other time in the future as she explained that she and her daughters need to spend as much time as they can now to take a rest before they will restart their lives.
Vice Pres. Robredo explained that it is the first time that she and her daughters will be travelling as a family again with no work to take care of since the death of their patriarch in 2012. She also apologized for the delay in the responses of thousands of messages sent to her.
Despite being away for a while to attend Jillian’s graduation and spend time with her daughter, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo assured she is still on top of the preparations for the launching of Angat Buhay as an NGO. She also stated that the entire Office of the Vice President is preparing for the official turnover of the office to the duly-elected vice president. Here’s her Facebook post:
