Vice Pres. Leni Robredo Receives Many Gifts during Election Campaign
LENI ROBREDO – The Vice President showed the gifts she received during the campaign period and thanked her supporters for these gifts.
Vice Pres. Robredo, one of the 10 candidates for president in the Elections 2022 and the only female presidential bet, visited several provinces during the 90-day campaign period. She met with people from different walks of life.
The grand rallies of the Leni-Kiko tandem gathered thousands of people in different venues. Their visit turned several provinces pink and the volunteers really did huge preparations for the events.
In every grand rally, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo received a lot of gifts from her supporters. Most of them were handed when she was on stage.
Most of the gifts that were given to Vice Pres. Robredo were memorabilia like paintings of her and her family, customized native bags, and special products of the provinces she visited. She was also given several customized tumblers, bracelets, earrings, and kitchen cloths.
Some of the Kakampink supporters also gave her clothes, jewelry boxes, customized keychains, clocks, watches, lipsticks and make-up, and scarves. The Vice President also received customized surfing boards given when she was in provinces that were known for surfing.
The gifts of the supporters of the pink movement were not solely for the Vice President. There were some of them who also sent her three daughters and their dog “Rocco” gifts.
In a Facebook live that lasted for more than an hour, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo showed the gifts she received from her supporters as she thanked them. She also asked permission that she would share some of the gifts with her volunteers. She is planning to place some of the gifts like the wonderful artworks in a “pink museum”.
