Robredo and Marcos Jr. are among the rivals for the presidential post.

Currently, BBM is leading the race with over 31 million votes while Robredo is behind with more than 14 million votes.

In a live phone patch interview, Atty. Vic Rodriguez was asked by Mel Tiangco if BBM would offer a government position to Robredo in case he takes over the highest position in the country this coming June 30.

Prior to that, Rodriguez lauded how they have always been offering their “hands of unity.”

“My statement is clear, Mel. We will be needing all the hands of all Filipinos regardless of political color, race, or belief, at handang magsakripisyo sa bansa ay welcome na tumulong,” he said.

Then, Mel Tiangco asked: “Does that include Leni Robredo? Is there a space?”

To which Rodriguez responded: “It includes every Filipino. But for the position, I have to ask and yield to presidential frontrunner Bongbong Marcos because he is the appointing authority.”

According to him, he and BBM are yet to talk about such matters.

As of posting, Marcos Jr. is still leading the presidential race with 31,078,160 votes.

While leading the vice presidential race is no other than Sara Duterte with 31,531,257 votes.
