Yap is considered one of the most popular directors in the country today.

He is behind the hit movies and independent films such as Jowable, Tililing and to name a few.

He’s also one of the staunch supporters of the UniTeam composed of presidential bet Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice-presidential aspirant, Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Aside from the tandem of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte, the director is also supporting Jinggoy Estrada’s candidacy.

Earlier, Estrada made a buzz online after a screenshot of his alleged message asking for support from his high school batchmates at the Ateneo went viral on social media.

One of his batchmates replied telling him that he’s not going to vote for him in the coming elections.

Since the number used by Jinggoy has been exposed, many tried to contact the said number but a certain “Elmer Mercado” replied.

Meanwhile, the senatorial candidate has yet to issue any statement regarding the issue.

Estrada is seeking senatorial return under the slate of the BBM-Sara tandem.
