Victory party of Bongbong Marcos in Amanpulo?
AMANPULO – The alleged victory party of presidential frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the luxurious resort in Palawan is possibly fake news.
Amanpulo Resort is viral on social media not because of their expensive turon but also due to rumors the camp of BBM has booked the resort for his victory party.
The issue started when a columnist claimed that the camp of Marcos Jr. has booked the whole island of Amanpulo for his victory party.
“BBM has booked the whole island of Amanpulo for his victory party. The days of Imeldific yore and opulence is back,” BusinessMirror columnist Val Villanueva said.
However, there’s still no proof regarding the alleged victory party.
“Claims of a buyout and victory party at Amanpulo are false. Verified and confirmed. We need to stop misinformation and disinformation from spreading regardless of which political candidate you support,” said Katrina Razon.
The camp of Marcos Jr. has yet to issue any statement regarding the issue.
According to some websites, ‘Casitas’ in Amanpulo cost P60,300 to P95,000 per night while that accommodation for Villa cost around P160,800 to P397,140.
The flight to the said island costs P24,877 per person.
Some of the well-known celebrities who have been to Amanpulo are Vice Ganda, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Meanwhile, Bongbong Marcos is still leading the presidential race with more than 31 million votes while his running mate Sara Duterte continues to dominate in the vice-presidential post with over 31 million votes as well.
