Son of Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos “Sandro” Wins Congressional Election in Ilocos Norte

BONGBONG MARCOS – The former Senator was spotted in a video giving his son Sandro Marcos a hug and a kiss after his speech.

Yesterday, millions of Filipinos were out to vote for the local and national Elections 2022. It was two days prior to the poll when the Commission on Elections (Comelec) signaled an “all systems go” for the poll.

Ten candidates are vying for the presidency. A few minutes after most of the voting precincts closed, the partial and unofficial results are already available. Media networks continuously give updates about the results.

In the said partial results, former Senator Bongbong Marcos is leading the presidential race. In the local election, his eldest son, Sandro Marcos, also led the race for congressman of the 1st District of Ilocos Norte. Several other Marcoses are vying for a position in the government this May 2022 Elections.

Amid the partial and unofficial results giving him the most percentage of winning, former Sen. Bongbong Marcos gave a speech expressing his gratitude to everyone who supported him while telling the public that the results are not yet showing 100%.

Based on a video posted by Inquirer on Facebook, after his speech, it was in time when Sandro Marcos came. Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos gave his son a kiss and a hug. The younger Marcos also hugged his mother, Atty. Lisa Araneta-Marcos and the people were shouting his name.

Sandro Marcos was emotional over the results of the congressional election in the 1st District of Ilocos Norte. He stressed that he really worked hard and he did not expect because of the start-up of his campaign from the bottom. He asked his team to be with him and help him in the next three years, six years, and nine years.
