The next DILG secretary is Benhur Abalos according to BBM’s spox
BENHUR ABALOS – The camp of presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. announced that the next secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) of the BBM administration is their campaign manager.
It was announced by Atty. Vic Rodriguez, the spokesperson of Marcos Jr.
Abalos served as chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) under the Duterte administration.
But when the campaign period started, she left her position to become the campaign manager of Marcos Jr.
Abalos is the second member of the Cabinet according to the camp of Marcos Jr.
First, presumptive vice president Sara Duterte who will lead the Department of Education or DepEd.
Earlier, a list of possible Cabinet members of BBM admin spread on social media. Among those included in the list is Mikee Arroyo as Energy secretary, Cesar Purisima as Finance secretary, Clarita Carlos as Foreign Affairs secretary, Rodante Marcoleta as Justice and to name a few.
Meanwhile, still leading the presidential race is presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. On the other hand, presumptive Vice President Sara Duterte, both earned more than 31 million votes.
For senatorial race, the leading candidate is Robin Padilla who received 26,454,562 votes, followed by Loren Legarda with 23,992,761 votes, Raffy Tulfo with 23,166,449 votes, Win Gatchalian with 20,376,009 votes, Chiz Escudero with 20,050,377 votes, Mark Villar with 19,210,280, Alan Peter Cayetano with 19,079,581 votes, Migz Zubiri with 18,582,962 votes, Joel Villanueva with 18,300,955 votes, JV Ejercito with 15,688,993 votes, Risa Hontiveros with 15,273,594 votes and Jinggoy Estrada with 14,966,887 votes.
