Tennis player delivers Will Smith slap to his opponent
WILL SMITH SLAP – A tennis player made a buzz online after slapping his opponent at a tournament.
The Hollywood star made a buzz following his epic scene at the 2022 Oscars awarding ceremony wherein he slapped Chris Rock in the face.
While Chris was presenting the award for best documentary, he joked about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head.
Jada has been struggling with alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that leads to hair loss.
Apparently, Chris’s joke did not go over well with Will.
He later went on stage and gave Chris a slap in the face. The audience was stunned by what Smith did.
Will can be heard cursing at Chris while the latter is trying to maintain his cool in the apparent slapping which he described as the “greatest night in the history of television.”
When Will received his first-ever Oscar award, he could not help but turn emotional.
Will and Chris have already apologized to each other.
Meanwhile, a French junior tennis player apologized after slapping his opponent ala Will Smith.
Michael Kouame, a 15-year-old tennis player smack Raphael Nii Ankrah during a tournament in Accra in Ghana when they met at the net to exchange the customary post-match handshakes.
According to Kouame, his outburst started “after an extremely frustrating and difficult match” wherein he was insulted by the crowd supporting his opponent.

After the slapping, a commotion occurred between the tennis player and the crowd.
The International Tennis Federation (ITF) is currently reviewing the incident.
