Lacson will run for president in the coming elections together with his runningmate, Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III. They will go against the tandem of; former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

On Sunday, April 3, the nine presidential candidates faced off in the second presidential debate sponsored by the Commission on Election (Comelec).

Apparently, BBM was not present anew.

However, according to Sen. Ping Lacson, round 2 of Comelec sponsored debate was boring.

He added that there were questions that are not clear.

Here’s his statement on social media:

“The COMELEC debate last night wasn’t as exciting as most people who watched would have wanted. Questions were not direct nor specific, even unclear sometimes. Translation: Boring,” he wrote.

Some netizens agreed with the stance of Lacson.

Ces Oreña-Drilon, the moderator in the PiliPinas Debates, was also criticized by some netizens.

“And we don’t like how ces drilon handle the questioning,” a netizen said.

Comelec has yet to respond to the remarks of Lacson.

To recall, Comelec said that the second round of the presidential debate would be “exciting” given the new format.

However, it seems the new format doesn’t fit well with some netizens, including Lacson.
