Duterte was present at the 71st birthday celebration of Quiboloy
RODRIGO DUTERTE – The president of the Republic of the Philippines attended the recent birthday celebration of the controversial religious leader, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Quiboloy is a pastor of the Philippines-based Restorationist church called the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
He has made claims that he is “The Appointed Son of God” as well as being “The Owner of the Universe.”
Quiboloy was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, a Oneness Pentecostal denomination until he established the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
The members of the congregation refer to their community as a “Kingdom Nation.” They claim about 2 million “Kingdom citizens” abroad and 4 million in the Philippines.
His ministry has a global television channel, the Sonshine Media Network International, and 17 radio stations in the Philippines. It also has two newspapers, Pinas and Sikat.
He made headlines earlier this year when the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the US released a wanted poster of him and two officials of KOJC namely Helen Panilag, and Teresita Tolibas Dandan.
Quiboloy and others are up for trial next year.
It was just recently when the religious leader celebrated his 71st birthday.
Among those present in the birthday celebration of the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) is no less than President Rodrigo Duterte.
His birthday celebration was held at the KJC headquarters.
Joining Duterte in his attendance at the birthday celebration of Quiboloy is no less than his partner Honeylet Avanceña.
