A drunk basketball player was put behind bars for pooping in the swimming pool of a resort in Ceby
DILCER GAVIOLA – A basketball player was arrested for allegedly pooping in the swimming pool of a resort in Barangay Liburon, Carcar City, Cebu.
Summer is not yet over.
During this season, among the refreshing things to do is to go swimming at the resort, beaches, falls, rivers, and swimming pools.
Apparently, a guy from Cebu did something unusual in the swimming pool of a resort in the said province.
Gaviola, a 20-year-old basketball player was put behind bars for leaving his mess at a resort not in the comfort room but in a public swimming pool.
The suspect is now under the custody of Carcar City Police station, headed by Colonel Ardioleto Cabagnot.
He’s facing charges, particularly malicious mischief after pooping in the swimming pool while under the influence of alcohol.
According to the management of the eco-farm resort, the damage left by the suspect reached P50,000 after the contamination of the swimming pool.
Fortunately, there was a lifeguard on duty who caught what the suspect has been doing at the time.
”[The] suspect was properly informed (of) the nature of his offense and rights as provided by law in a language that is known to him and thereafter was brought to this station for proper disposition,” the police officer said.
Gaviola is a varsity player in Cebu and was recruited to play in Manila for college.
The suspect has yet to issue any statement regarding the incident.
