BBM is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election

Together with his runningmate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, they will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

A lot have expressed their support for the candidacy of BBM but some chose not to. One of them is actress, Vivian Velez.

In a Facebook post, Velez mentioned the alleged P203.8-B estate tax of the Marcos family.

According to the former actress, it would be better if BBM’s supporters show unity by contributing to Marcos’s debt to the government.

“Mga [Marcos] Apologists: Ipakita ninyo ang inyong UNITY. Mag ambag kayo para bayaran ang P203.8 Billion na estate tax ni BBM,” she said.

In 1997, the Supreme Court ordered the Marcos family to pay P27-B which has now reached P203-B due to interest and penalties.

BBM’s camp doubted that the Marcoses have to pay P203-B because the properties in question in the said estate tax are still being processed by the court until now.
