Recently, Bello called the presidential daughter a “coward” following her non-attendance in the CNN vice-presidential debate last February 26.

This prompted the camp of the Davao City mayor to release a statement following his remark.

Liloan Mayor Cristina Garcia-Frasco, the spokesperson of Sara Duterte shared her thoughts regarding the remark of Bello.

“Sabi ni Walden Bello, duwag daw si Mayor Sara. Pero sino sa kanila ang nagtatago sa mga tao ngayong kampanya?” Sara’s spokesperson said.

Contrary to Bello’s remark, Mayor Sara has visited 70 cities, towns, islands, provinces, in less than 2 months, speaking directly to the people, listening to their problems, bringing aid where needed most, and so on and so forth.

Garcia-Frasco also cited the achievements of Sara Duterte before leaving Davao City.

According to her, the mayor will be leaving her post this coming June 30. She stressed that Sara will leave Davao City debt-free as well as the 4th Most Competitive City in the Philippines, and the 7th richest City in the country.

She added that Davao City has received no less than 118 awards, citations, and recognitions in less than five years since serving as mayor in 2016.

Meanwhile, the presidential daughter has kept her mum on why she did not attend the said debate like her co-tandem former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
