Here’s the message of Quiboloy to Pacquiao over debate
PASTOR APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The controversial religious leader raised a question to presidential candidate Senator Manny Pacquiao over debate.
In an interview last February 27, Pacquiao aired the importance of debates.
This, following the absence of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos in the presidential debate held by CNN Philippines.
He also urged his fellow presidential candidate to attend upcoming debates.
According to him, his non-attendance on debates makes his supporters “embarrassed.”
Controversial religious leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has reacted to the remarks Pacquiao about debates.
“Ayon pala, ini-invite ka ng SMNI, bakit hindi ka sumipot? Sinabi mo pa ‘yung mga kaso na mga indictment na sumbong lang, walang charges,” he said.
“Bakit hindi ka sumipot sa imbitasyon? Tapos nang-insulto ka pa,” he added.
Quiboloy also announced that he will give a second chance to those who did not attend the SMNI debate previously. According to him, presidential aspirants will face off anew this coming March 26.
Some netizens urged Pacquiao to attend the second presidential debate of SMNI.
Pacquiao has yet to issue any statement regarding the latest tired of Quiboloy.
Aside from Pacquiao, among those who did not attend the SMNI presidential debate is Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
Pacquiao declined the invitation because his conscience would not allow him to attend the debate. Lacson refused on the grounds that Quiboloy had already made public his support for the candidacy of Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte. Robredo and Moreno have other activities scheduled.
