Here’s the message of Moira Dela Torre to the popular news outfit
MOIRA DELA TORRE – The singer called out a national newspaper over an article asking if she was paid P5 million to perform at the Leni-Kiko rally.
It was just recently when the tandem of Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan held a campaign rally in Zamboanga.
In an article, Manila Bulletin asked the singer if she received a huge payment or a whopping five (5) million pesos after performing at the said campaign rally.
The singer denied the rumors saying that the article posted by the news outfit is a “clickbait.”
Clickbait means content whose main purpose is to attract attention and encourage visitors to click on a link to a particular web page.
Here’s the statement of Moira according to Philstar:
Prior to the said rally which was attended by thousands of Robredo supporters known as Kakampinks, Moira Dela Torre shared that she will be joining the Leni-Kiko tandem in Zamboanga.
A social media user commented: “GG, 1 to 5 million per artist offer.”
To which she replied: “Hindi po kami bayad. Nag-volunteer lang din po kami.”
Meanwhile, Moira Dela Torre’s career began as a voice artist working on corporate jingles and themed songs, including McDonald, Surf and more.
She later joined The Voice of the Philippines but unfortunately, she was eliminated.
In 2016, Moira’s career boomed when she sang Malaya, the theme song of the movie Camp Sawi.
Among the popular singles of Moira is Tagpuan, Titibo-tibo, Ikaw at Ako and to name a few.
Moira is already married to Jason Hernandez and they tied the knot on January 15, 2019, at a garden wedding in Tagaytay.
