Maris Racal shared a message for Rico Blanco on his 49th birthday.
MARIS RACAL — The actress-singer recently took to social media to share a message for her boyfriend Rico Blanco on his 49th birthday.
The former “Rivermaya” frontman celebrated his 49th birthday last Thursday, March 17. His girlfriend uploaded photos and a video clip of him to mark the occasion.
“Happy birthday, my fave subject,” Maris wrote.
Rico, for his part, took to Instagram to thank those who greeted him on his birthday. Among those who greeted him were Ebe Dancel and “Parokya Ni Edgar” frontman Chito Miranda.
Almost a year since the couple went public with their relationship, Maris and Rico’s relationship has proven itself even stronger than ever.
The couple made headlines in March 2021 after Maris posted on her Instagram account a birthday greeting to the former “Rivermaya” frontman which sparked dating rumors.

In a previous interview this 2022, the actress-host shared what she loves the most about her boyfriend with whom she has a 25-year age gap.
“I feel safe when he’s around and what’s what I like about being with him. Parang safe talaga yung feeling ko pag andiyan si Rico,” the actress said at that time.
Maris and Rico recently starred in iWantTFC’s romantic-comedy series “The Goodbye Girl” earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Rico announced on Instagram last week that he is set to open a new business in La Union. At that time, he said that he’s “absolutely thrilled” to see their market level looking all set to welcome their partners, friends, tenants, and guests “VERY SOON”.
“Matagal ko pinangarap ‘to kaya pagbigyan nyo na kung biglaang nag photo shoot nalang ako dito para hindi maiyak,” Rico said at that time.
