Rico Blanco is set to open a new business in La Union.
RICO BLANCO — The former Rivermaya frontman recently took to social media to share that he’s set to open a new business in La Union.
Rico shared the news with his supporters and followers through an Instagram post on March 7 that he’s is set to soon launch a new business in San Juan, La Union
Sharing photos on Instagram, Rico said that he and his partners have worked on the new business for a few years now and so he’s “absolutely thrilled” to see their market level looking all set to welcome partners, tenants, friends, and guests “VERY SOON”.

As seen in his Instagram post, the OPM icon and his partners will soon launch a one-stop-shop for tourists and residents in La Union — dubbed as the surfing capital of the north — called Port San Juan.
“LETS GOOOO. can’t believe I’m now just counting the weeks (days??) til my ultimate dream project in Surftown LU @portsanjuan finally opens its doors to the community,” Rico wrote. “Matagal ko pinangarap ‘to kaya pagbigyan nyo na kung biglaang nag photo shoot nalang ako dito para hindi maiyak.“
This isn’t the first time that the former Rivermaya frontman has ventured into business. Rico also launched his own record label “Balcony Entertainment” under Sony Music Philippines in 2019.
The OPM icon was recently seen in “The Goodbye Girl” alongside his girlfriend, actress-singer Maris Racal.
PUSH reported that the iWantTFC series is based on the book by Noreen Capili and also starred Ronnie Alonte, Loisa Andalio, Angelica Panganiban, and RK Bagatsing.
