It was on March 2 when Sonshine Media Network International, a media company owned by the controversial religious leader, Pastor Apolo Quiboloy held a senatorial debate.

Among those who participated in the said debate is no other than senatorial aspirant, suspended lawyer Larry Gadon.

At one point, he mentioned the Catholic Church, that instead of teaching kids good values, it indulges in politics.

Because of Gadon’s statement another senatorial candidate, Atty. Luke Espiritu irked at him.

Espiritu said that what should be taught in school is that EJK is bad as well as red-tagging and the Marcoses.

Gadon even tried to intervene at Espiritu’s statement but the latter castigated him: “It’s my time. Huwag kang bastos.”

Gadon reacted to his statement saying that such debate should not be used to spread “propaganda” against Marcos, particularly about the late president.

The Catholic Church has yet to issue any statement with regards to the remark of Gadon.

To recall, several Catholic priests expressed their disapproval following the candidacy of Bongbong Marcos.
