Jolina Magdangal is set to join the Leni-Kiko campaign rally for the first time.
JOLINA MAGDANGAL — The actress-host is set to join the campaign rally of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
Jolina said in an Instagram post on Thursday that it will be her first time to join the campaign rally for Robredo and Pangilinan as she shared photos of her with her family at the airport.
She also shared photos of her with actress Nikki Valdez, who is also an active supporter of Robredo and Pangilinan.
“Papunta na kami Zamboanga! First time ko sumama sa actual rally at sobra akong excited. At ang tagal na nung huli ako nagkaroon ng show sa Zamboanga,” Jolina wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “Mamaya magkukulay pink ang kapaligiran.“

Earlier, Jolina praised her husband, Rivermaya’s Mark Escueta, for supporting the Leni-Kiko tandem.
Other celebrities who previously joined the Leni-Kiko rallies were Sharon Cuneta, Edu Manzano, Kuh Ledesma, Gab Valenciano, Ronnie Lazaro, Pinky Amador, Agot Isidro, Joel Torre, The Company, Kyla, Ogie Diaz, Cherry Pie Picache, Bituin Escalante, and Ely Buendia.
Campaign strategist Alan German told ANC’s After The Fact last week that celebrity endorsers are still a “big plus” to a political candidate’s election campaign.
Meanwhile, Senator Pangilinan announced that Donny Pangilinan is set to join the Leni-Kiko campaign trail. The senator has yet to reveal which upcoming campaign rally or rallies Donny would attend.
