Mayor Isko Moreno Speaks on Qualities of President
ISKO MORENO – The Manila Mayor said that the president that should be voted on must be like the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The absence of some candidates during the CNN Debates that gathered the presidential and the vice-presidential bets hooked different reactions from the people. The candidates also spoke on it and the value of attending debates.
Most of the presidential candidates believe that debates are the venues for them to lay their platforms and plans if they win the election. Out of the 10 presidential candidates for the upcoming poll, only former Senator Bongbong Marcos was absent at the CNN Presidential Debate 2022.
Recently, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno spoke on the qualities of the person that should be president. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Aksyon Demnokratiko reminded the public to be careful in voting because it is should not be that the president is always not available or absent.
“Hindi po powede na ang presidente laging wala. Hindi po pwede ang presidente laging absent. Hindi po pwede ang presidente dahil magaling lang iyong lahi ay magaling na rin siya,” he said.
Based on the report, Mayor Isko also believes that the person who must be president is someone who has been through a lot of challenges in life and not someone who lived comfortably while others were struggling. According to the standard-bearer of Aksyon Demokratiko, it is also important the president has the trust of the investors and business magnets, or else they would find other nations where they can invest their money and the Filipino workers will suffer.
Mayor Isko Moreno stressed that the person that should be voted on for president must be like the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Amid the tension with Russia, he led his country and never left for his own safety. He even joined the war to defend his nation and his countrymen.
