HIDILYN DIAZ — The Olympic gold medalist is excited to wear a bridal gown designed by this fashion designer at her wedding with her fiancé Coach Julius Naranjo.
Hidilyn is tying the knot with her fiancé later this year.
Renowned fashion designer Francis Libiran took to Instagram last March 2, 2022, to reveal that the Olympic gold medalist had already consulted with him for the design of her bridal gown.
Francis uploaded photos from their session on his Instagram account, saying that Hidilyn “deserves only the gold standard in fashion design on her special day!”
In the caption, he said that he’s beaming with pride to be chosen by Hidilyn and her fiancé as the official designer for their wedding.

Francis’ business partner Arsi Baltazar also took to his Instagram to thank Hidilyn and Julius for their trust.
“Thank you, @hidilyndiaz and @imjulius for coming to our atelier,” Arsi wrote. “Indeed, @francislibiran8 and I are so thrilled for this huge milestone project with you!! It is absolutely an honor and a pleasure!! [emoji] #FrancisLibiran #HidilynDiaz“
Hidilyn and Julius revealed in an interview with Dolly Anne Carvajal of Philippine Daily Inquirer last October 2021 that they’re planning to hold their wedding in Baguio City.
The Olympic gold medalist said that she and her fiancé were planning a simple private wedding in Mount Costa in Baguio. According to her, the place “doesn’t really matter as long as God is there and our loved ones”.
Also, they have finalized their honeymoon plans as well. Hidilyn told Dolly Anne that she wanted their honeymoon to be in Europe or any place where they “will be away from it all and have time for both of us to plan the future”.
The couple got engaged last October 15, 2021, and the proposal was held at Sheraton Hotel, Resorts World Manila.
