Here’s the message of Gladys Guevarra to Sharon Cuneta
GLADYS GUEVARRA – The actress criticized Sharon Cuneta over the Megastar’s post against senatorial aspirant Salvador Panelo.
This, after Panelo sang Sharon’s hit single “Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas” in a campaign sortie in Quezon City on March 10, 2022.
Sharon claimed that Panelo destroyed the classic song.
But in the official statement released by the former presidential spokesperson of President Rodrigo Duterte, he said that he performed the song “Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas” as a tribute to his late son with Down Syndrome.
The statement of Panelo as to why he used the song earned the respect of Gladys Guevarra.
On Sunday, she went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she gave her reaction to the statement of Sharon to Panelo.
Gladys relates with Panelo because according to her, she has a niece or nephew and a cousin who has Down syndrome.
“Sinasaluduhan at nire-respeto ko si Senator Panelo hindi sa kahit anu pa mang political reasons, Pero sa pagiging Amazing father nya,” she wrote.
Then, she criticized Sharon Cuneta.
According to Gladys, she regretted the damage to Sharon’s reputation only because of her negative post against Panelo.
“Ngayon, malinaw pa sa mineral water na nakita ng lahat ang tunay mong ugali,” she wrote.
In her post, one of the hashtags she used seemed to be chiding the candidacy of Sharon’s husband, Kiko Pangilinan: “#ilangbotokayamawawalakayKikokontinangalangbinawasanmopa”
The husband of the Megastar is running for vice president in the coming elections alongside his running mate, presidential aspirant, and Vice President Leni Robredo.
Sharon has yet to issue any reaction with regards to the statement of Gladys.
Meanwhile, her post against Panela has been deleted. But before she took it down, she has received massive criticism from netizens especially the supporters of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte.
