Robredo is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election.

Together with her runningmate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, they will go against the tandem of; former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

In a campaign commercial, Manzano said WPS is rich in marine resources that will help Filipinos to have jobs and food.

But due to the ongoing conflict in the said area, Filipinos are not able to catch fish properly there.

It can be recalled that the Philippines won the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague but China still did not respect the said decision.

According to Edu Manzano, Robredo has the qualities of a leader who can fight for the rights of the country and its fishermen.

Edu Manzano also believes that Robredo is capable of leading the Philippine army.

Robredo is one of those open to “joint exploration” between the Philippines and China. But according to her, the latter must first recognize the arbitral ruling.
