Video of Drunk Rider Who Hits Another Vehicle for Driving Recklessly Elicits Reactions Online
The video footage of a drunk rider who hits a vehicle along the road after driving recklessly goes viral and elicits criticisms online.
Over the past decades, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems happening not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually lead to traffic congestions, injuries, and even death.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter traffic policy to reduce the increasing cases of road and vehicular accidents but there are still lot of reckless motorists violating the traffic law.
Driving under the influence of alcoholic beverage is strictly prohibited because it may lead to accidents. Violators will be subject to corresponding sanctions and penalties.
The Facebook page “VISOR” has shared the video of a drunk motorcycle rider who accidentally hits another vehicle along the street. The video circulates online and garnered various reactions from the social media users.
In the video, the vehicle seems stagnant in the middle of the road while waiting for its turn to pass when a reckless motorist with back riders arrived. The drunk rider with multiple traffic violation rammed the vehicle.
The motorist and his two back riders immediately stand up as if nothing happened. The car driver also get out of his vehicle to check the damage. However, the video ends without showing how both camps settled the issue.
The video has a caption of:
“This is what happens when we allow drunk riders/drivers to operate motor vehicles. We need to put fear in the hearts of reckless people, and make them know they will be held accountable for their acts. ”
