Is Doc Adam chiding Bongbong Marcos in his tweet?
DOC ADAM – The Australian vlogger whose real name is Dr. Adam Smith chided at voters who will vote for a candidate who doesn’t pay his taxes.
In a Twitter post, Doc Adam called those voters who have chosen the said candidate as “awkward.”
“Yung awkward moment na nagbabayad ka ng tax… Pero ung boboto mo di nagbabayad,” he wrote.
Doc Adam did not name the said candidate but many netizens believe that he’s referring to presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
The former senator who is leading in the surveys for the presidential race is being criticized for the unpaid P203-B estate tax of his family.
Because of his pronouncement, some netizens especially supporters of Bongbong Marcos could not help but slam the popular vlogger.
“Yung nakiki epal sa issues na foreigner, Pinoy baiting at clout chaser para magkaviews,” said @ma1neeventually.
On the other hand, @YesYesYo13 said: “Mas awkward yung wala kang alam sa tax law pero ang daldal mo.”
Another netizen wanted Doc Adam to get deported but the vlogger clarified that he’s currently not living in the Philippines.
Most of Doc Adam’s followers are Filipinos, no wonder why he gave an opinion on what’s happening now in the country.
Last year, according to dailybncnews.com, the vlogger allegedly earned eight (8) million pesos out of donations given to him by his followers amid his case with a businessman.
This prompted his critics to accuse him of “pinoy-baiting.”
Doc Adam has yet to make a comment regarding the criticisms he’s been receiving.
