Robredo will run for president along with her running mate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.

They will go against the tandem of; former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

A lot of celebrities and personalities have expressed their support in the presidential bid of Robredo.

But for Manny Castañeda, the actor/director will not cast his vote for Robredo due to some reasons.

In a lengthy Facebook post, he noted the reasons why he will not vote for the vice president for the highest government position.

Some of these are Robredo’s closeness to the Aquino family and the Liberal Party, the vice president’s alleged alliance with the communists, her reported intention to run because she doesn’t want Bongbong Marcos to win, and most especially her personality.

His post has gone viral garnering mixed reactions from the netizens.
