Based on a report on GMA News, Comelec Commissioner George Garcia stressed that the poll body recognizes what was written in COC filed by a candidate. According to him, if the COC was filed on October 1, 2021, amendments are only allowed until October 8, 2021.

According to Partido Reporma President Pantaleon Alvarez, they have no doubts on the qualifications of Sen. Lacson but the people are allegedly not accepting his qualifications citing the survey results. The former Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief is lagging behind in survey results.

Vice Pres. Robredo who now has the support of Sen. Lacson’s former party is on the 2nd spot in survey results. Alvarez sees potential for the Vice President gaining more and more numbers. He also stressed that the Vice President is the one who is aligned to their party’s goal which is to reform the government and give the people a better future.
