The wife of Bongbong Marcos shared the conversation they had months ago
Atty. Liza Marcos, the wife of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos, revealed that his decision to run for president came while they were watching the movie Ant-Man.
In an interview on Boy Abunda Talk Channel on YouTube, Liza shared that six months ago, the former Senator has no concrete decision yet when it comes to his political career.
The lawyer said that while they were watching Ant-Man, as they love watching Marvel movies, her husband suddenly said that he is going to run for the highest position in the Philippine government.
“Six months ago, he wasn’t so sure what to do, with no party, you know. And then one day, we’re watching Ant-Man in the room, he loved Marvel movies, and then looked at me and he goes, ‘Okay, we’re gonna do this,’ he told me. ‘Do what?’ ‘Run for the presidency.’” The wife of Bongbong Marcos shared.
Asked what her initial reaction was, Liza admitted that she was quite apprehensive and she saw that her husband was hurt by the result last 2016 election and this also affected them. She said that, as much as possible, they do not want to go through that same pain again.
In the interview, Liza and Vinny Marcos were asked also why people should choose Bongbong Marcos. Vinny said that his dad is a “great father” while Liza said that it is BBM’s time to serve.
The wife of the former Senator was also asked to react to the bashings and negative things being thrown at him. Liza said, “Sana makilala mo siya katulad ng nakilala ko siya. Mabait talaga si Bong, I can’t even begin to say how intelligent and how kind he is,” Liza said about her husband.
