Filipino K-drama fans are proud of the Pinay actress who’s part of the hit Korean zombie series.

Aside from the main protagonists and antagonists in the said series which premieres on Netflix, a Filipina actress caught the attention of many.

Her name is Noreen Joyce Guerra. She is an international student in South Korea and works as a part-timer in movie productions.

Noreen is one of the lucky stars chosen out of the selected students who were given the chance to become part of the series.

In an interview, she shared that she portrays the character as one of the classmates of Yoo In-soo who played the role of Yoon Gwi-nam, a bully in Hyosan High School.

On her Instagram page, she posted some snaps of the zombie series, especially the times she was captured on cam.

She also mentioned in the caption that it’s been two years since they finished the series.

Aside from the “AOUAD,” Noreen also appeared in several Korean dramas such as the “Our Beloved Summer,” “The Encounter,” “Hospital Playlist”, “My Name” and “The Penthouse.”

In an interview with GMA, she shared that it was in 2015 when she went to South Korea as an international student and took Master of Business Administration at Sookmyung Women’s University.

She also worked there as a translator and assistant stage director at an entertainment-related events company.

“Sinabihan ako ng mga producer tsaka director kung gusto ko raw mag-on-cam kasi nga lagi akong off-cam. Pwede raw ako mag-on-cam kasi maliit daw ‘yung mukha ko. I tried to submit my profile sa Korean agencies naman that handle Korean talents,” she said.

“So ayun, doon ako nakuha, actually. Kaya ‘yun ‘yung reason kung bakit ‘yung mga role ko sa dramas is Korean,” she added.
