In the Presidential press briefing, the acting Palace spokesman revealed for the first time that the President’s true last exposure to a COVID-positive household staff member took place last January 28, afterwhich President Duterte presumably started his quarantine.

Bagama’t mayroon member of the household staff na nag-positive din for COVID noong Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, upon assessment ng physician, hindi ito maituturing na exposure kay Pangulo kasi, per se, hindi siya close contact as per the circumstances,” Nograles explained.

Nograles also noted that there were at least 2 individuals in the Duterte household who tested positive for COVID-19.
