Leni-Kiko Team Visits Capiz, Meets w/ Supporters

LENI-KIKO TEAM – Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan are calling for their supporters to fight fake news online.

The campaign period for Election 2022 has officially started. Last February 8, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and her team held their proclamation rally in Naga, Camarines Sur.

Robredo is running as an independent candidate. She tapped Liberal Party’s vice-presidential bet, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, as her running-mate. Their team is collectively called Leni-Kiko Team and TROPA (Team Robredo-Pangilinan).

The supporters of Vice Pres. Robredo and Sen. Pangilinan tagged themselves as “Kakampinks”. The Leni-Kiko Team has pink as the official campaign color. Many of their supporters organized different activities including feeding programs to campaign for the tandem.

Recently, the Leni-Kiko Team visited Capiz and met with their supporters. They called for their supporters to help fight the spread of fake news online.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vice Pres. Robredo, Sen. Pangilinan, and their senate slate were welcomed by the Kakapink supporters at the airport while some waited along the way to an auditorium where most of their supporters waited for them.

Robredo reiterated her promise to give the Filipinos an honest government if she will win in the upcoming election. Pangilinan stressed that online platforms like TikTok and YouTube are not the right and sufficient venues to based on in deciding who to vote in the upcoming election.

Leni-Kiko is admittedly not leading the presidential and vice-presidential surveys. Meanwhile, they are confident that they can make it if their supporters would help them convince more people.

Reportedly, many supporters of Vice Pres. Robredo and Sen. Pangilinan assured that they will help bring in more supporters for them. The auditorium was filled with pink.
