Sen. Kiko Pangilinan Tests Positive for COVID-19

KIKO PANGILINAN – The Senator and vice-presidential aspirant for Election 2022 shared their situation at home now after he tested positive for COVID-19.

The cases of COVID-19 in the different cities in the Philippines are rising again. It urged the national government to place the entire Metro Manila under Alert Level 3. According to Malacañang, if the cases continue to go on an upward trend, there is a possibility of placing the capital region under Alert Level 4.

Several known personalities tested positive for COVID-19. One of those who recently confirmed that he tested positive for the virus is Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.

In a social media post, vice-presidential aspirant for Election 2022 and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan announced that he undergoes an RT PCR test twice a week and he was surprised that his recent result came back positive for COVID-19. According to the Senator, he has no symptoms at all and he even did some exercises before he was informed that he’s positive for the virus.

Sen. Pangilinan stated that he was able to run on a treadmill and do some yoga stretching exercises. He is currently under isolation and he has already undergone a retest and he awaits the results.

With regards to their situation at home, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan expressed in his post that he, his wife Sharon Cuneta, and their kids are all isolated at home. They are in different rooms and “all are masked”. He also added that all of them are fully vaccinated.

Sen. Pangilinan further stated in his post that none of his family is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 and they all tested negative in a recent antigen testing. They currently await the results of their RT PCR tests. He stressed that he “is more than ok” and he is just worried about the health of his family and staff at home.
