Enchong Dee broke his silence on the recent issue
Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee showed optimism amid the cyber libel case filed against him by DUMPER Representative Claudine Bautista-Lim.
Enchong finally addressed the speculations that he was hiding after the warrant of arrest against him was issued. Rumors surfaced that the actor was not in his house when authorities tried to serve the warrant.
In his recent Instagram post, the actor shared his official statement regarding this matter through his legal counsel. Based on the statement, Enchong Dee was not trying to evade arrest. It was said that the actor was doing his engagements in the entertainment industry, as well as his personal matters.
“As a show of respect for the rule of law, he voluntarily submitted himself to the authorities and posted bail,” the legal counsel of the actor. On January 31, based on reports, the actor voluntarily surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and paid a certain amount for bail.
At the end of the statement, his lawyer said that Enchong will “take legal steps to defend himself against the pending lawsuit.”
After reports circulated about his submission to the authorities, the actor shared a happy post on his Instagram Story. He shared his photo jumping happily with the caption “Gong Xi Fa Cai” which means “wishing you enlarge wealth.” He was inviting everyone to join their find-raising show.
Amid this legal battle that Enchong Dee is facing, his fellow Kapamilya stars rallied behind his back. In his post featuring his statement on the cyber libel case against him, many celebrities expressed love and support for him. His fans also showed support and boosted his courage to face this obstacle in his life.
