Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia revealed that he was influenced by fellow Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee to try his first business venture.
Located at 19 Scout Borromeo, Tomas Morato, Quezon City, the Academy of Rock was a music school dedicated to teaching rock and popular music.
It was last July 18 when Enchong Dee announced on his Instagram account that the said academy was officially open.
As one of Academy of Rock Philippines’ new investors, the actor told PUSH during the Academy of Rock Philippines relaunch held last July 18 in Quezon City that the music academy was his first investment, adding that he was influenced by Enchong to try his first business venture.
Joshua also shared that currently studying Business Entrepreneurship and wanted to learn more about business.
“Nag-sa-study kasi ako ngayon ng Business Entrepreneurship and I want to learn more about business. I think this is going to be my training ground. So nung pinitch sa’kin nila Enchong, tinour nila ako dito sa lugar, nagustuhan ko siya,” he said.

He added that music was very close to his heart and so he said to himself that it wasn’t bad to invest in it either. For him, it’s not just money he invested in the music academy, but also time and friendship with Enchong as well.
“Music kasi is very close to my heart so sabi ko di naman masama to invest din dito. Hindi lang naman kasi pera yung ininvest ko dito, time din and friendship with Enchong,” Joshua said.
