Here’s the reaction of Ogie Diaz to cyber libel case of Enchong Dee
OGIE DIAZ – The talent manager and vlogger reacted to the 1 billion cyber libel case actor Enchong Dee is facing.
Enchong is facing a cyber libel case due to his rude comment against Drivers United for Mass Progress and Equal Rights (DUMPER) Representative Claudine Diana Bautista-Lim at the height of her wedding.
To recall, it was in August last year when the congresswoman tied the knot.
Apparently, there were some who are unhappy with her wedding which happened amid the pandemic. Among those who commented to her nuptial are celebrities such as Agot Isidro, Pokwang, Ogie Diaz and Enchong Dee.
This prompted the representative to file a cyber libel case against them. Fortunately, they were acquitted except for Enchong. At press time, the actor is facing a 1 billion lawsuit.
Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz has finally broken his silence with the issue.
In an interview with showbiz reporters right after his birthday lunch at a restaurant somewhere, he revealed that he chose to remain silent about the issue.
According to him, he can’t celebrate yet since Enchong was left alone facing the case.
“Siyempre sad ako for Enchong pero sana maayos, sana ganoon din ang kalabasan ng tulad sa amin. Pero hindi pa tapos kasi depende na lang kung may aapela,” he said.
Ogie Diaz also shared what he learned following the issue.
“Oo naman lesson learned to all of us na kahit alam mo sa sarili mo na hindi naman libelous o ano, eh, meron naman palang masasaktan sa naging opinyon ko,” he said.

Enchong Dee has yet to issue any statement regarding the case he’s facing.
