DITO also said that subscribers who will avail of the service during the introductory period will get 50GB open-access data valid for 30 days and a 3-month subscription to HBO GO, among others.
ABS-CBN News reported that a “Double the data” promo valid for 30 days will be available for the following price: PHP 590 for 100GB data (instead of 50GB); PHP 990 for 200GB data (instead of 100GB); PHP 1,490 for 340GB (instead of 170GB); and PHP 1,990 for 500 GB data (instead of 250GB).
The telco said in early February that it allotted PHP 50 billion for its network rollout this year. At that time, DITO said that it would keep its commitment to the Filipino people and to the government.
“We’re spending more than P50 billion and that funding is already there. We’re not going to comment on DITO CME, what they said the stock rights was for…Nandun na ang pera,” DITO Telecommunity chief administrative officer Tamano said at that time.
DITO also said that it is on track to meet its 3rd-year commitments during the technical audit set in July.
