The legal counsel of Dawn Chang releases statement over claims of Cristy Fermin against the dancer
DAWN CHANG – The legal counsel of the Kapamilya dancer released a statement following the “malicious” claims of showbiz veteran Cristy Fermin.
Recently, Cristy Fermin criticized the dancer via her program Cristy Ferminute.
This, following the criticism of Chang to former Pinoy Big Brother host Toni Gonzaga.
Toni is currently making rounds online following her public declaration of support to the presidential aspirant, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Among those who criticized her is no less than dancer Dawn Chang, who expressed her disappointment at Toni.
Cristy Fermin defended Toni via her talk show and at one point she told Chang: “Ikaw ang dapat i-bash dahil wala kang mararating kung hindi ka nakikipaglandian sa mga boss.”
Meanwhile, the legal counsel of Dawn has issued a statement following the accusations of Cristy.
In a statement released by Rafael Vicente Calinisan, the lawyer of Dawn Chang, he said that Fermin’s claims are “malicious, hateful, and malevolent.”
Here’s the statement of Dawn’s legal counsel:
The dancer’s lawyer stressed that his client’s criticism against Toni is part of freedom of speech.
The legal counsel also dared Fermin to drop the names of ABS-CBN bosses she’s referring to.
“Because of your malicious imputations, we assure you, we will send you to jail,” Calinisan stated.
The camp of Dawn Chang gave at least five (5) days for Fermin to make a public apology unless otherwise, she will face their complaint.
Cristy Fermin has yet to issue any statement.
