Angeli Khang: “Pumapasok ako sa school na may pasa sa mukha”
ANGELI KHANG – The Filipina-Korean actress admitted in an interview that she was once abused by her father.
Angeli started out in the show business as a cosplayer when she was only 15-years-old until she moved to runway modeling in 2017. She previously worked at Philmoda Entertainment Production as a model.
She later joined a girl group where she was taught to sing and dance, and then Viva discovered her.
Today, she is considered one of the coveted actresses in the country as part of the talent roosters of the Viva Artists Agency.
The 20-year-old actress has starred in a variety of movies. She earned massive attention with her performance in the films; Taya, Eva, and Mahjong Nights.
Presently, she stars in the movie, Silip Sa Apoy starring Sid Lucero, Paolo Gumabao and Jela Cuenca.
The movie centers on the life of an unhappy housewife, physically abused by her partner. Later, she found passionate love from her neighbor.
In an interview, she became honest about herself. At one point, she admitted that her Korean father once abused her physically.
According to her as per PEP.ph, it happened when she was only nine years old and they are living together in the US.
“Pumapasok ako sa school na may pasa sa mukha and ipinapa-reason ng dad ko na sa sobrang kulit ko, kunwari, natamaan ako ng door, like that,” she said.
Until one day, her teacher found out about the physical abuse she’s experiencing from her father.
Despite her past experiences, Angeli Khang has a positive outlook on life and hoping that her career will be going well in 2022.
