Netizens reacted to the statement of Rita Avila
Actress Rita Avila became a trending topic on social media after what she said about the interview of King of Talk Boy Abunda with Vice President Leni Robredo.
For the third session of Tito Boy’s five-part presidential interviews, VP Leni answered pressing and controversial issues. Many netizens expressed admiration to the seasoned TV host for his “job well done”.
Many voters also expressed gratitude to the host and the production team behind this for having this kind of interview so that they will have an idea of how the presidential candidates will handle the problems in the country.
However, there were a lot of netizens who also expressed dismay, especially those who support the Vice President. They accused the King of Talk of intentionally cutting VP Leni during the time when she was answering the questions.
One of the celebrity supporters of the Vice President who slammed Boy Abunda was Rita Avila. Through the recent Instagram post of the actress, she said that the host appeared to be against what the presidential candidate was saying.
“Mr. Boy Abunda, I love you but I feel something heavy while you are talking to VP Leni. You keep on cutting her and you act like you are against what she is saying. Mas respectful and decent ka kala Sen Ping and BBM. Sorry friend, I am not the only one who felt this,” she said.
The actress also expressed support for VP Leni as she said, “WINNER SA PAGKA-TOTOO AT PRANGKA NI VP @lenirobredo !!! I LOVE YOUUU.”
